Gregynog, the Welsh garden of Eden

Do you feel anxious and stressed? Do you think you need to go somewhere far from the crowd and the noise to relax and get some fresh air? Do you need to find yourself? Take a coach then, and in 3 hours you will get to Gregynog, a forgotten realm in the mid-Wales countryside, less than 10 miles from Newtown.

The whole thing is composed by a big ancient Victorian house surrounded by woods and beautiful parks. It is simply amazing to wander in the grounds and inhale that positive spirit, while admiring beautiful beds of leaves and trees with such colour shades. (Autumn there is unique, believe me)

Be ware, if you are some kind of communication freak or mobile addicted, then you might have some problems, as there is no mobile network nor internet connection. There is only one paved road to reach Gregynog Hall, that is winding and narrow. And the 3 hours journey spent in the same seat with your 70cm square of personal space are also factors to take into account if you are up to go there. I can tell you that it's worth every single minute of the journey, even if you'll be sick the whole way. You'll be delighted and hopefully enlightened.

The place is peaceful and inspiring; we really managed to focus on our projects without distractions and work productively.

Last but not less important, the food is very good and the chefs bake bread and cakes daily.

If you are not convinced about going there yet, you may change your mind after having taken a look at some pictures of the place.
