Dial 999 in case I deteriorate

As most people know, these are delicate times in terms of health, with Swine flu spreading around the world through bags, tissues, handshakes and sneezes. Here in Britain though, people've gone far from simple prevention. Since we (we=new students) arrived in Cardiff there has been a huge information campaign with leaflets, advertisments, signs, soaps and flu buddies! Each student has to identify a friend who lives in close proximity, willing to alert the NHS in case you get Swine Flu. By then you are not supposed to leave the house, medicines will be brought to you by your flu buddy, and you just stay where you are! Do not even think about going out, you might extend the virus to others!

Ok I know it is for our health and everything, but I still reckon there is just too much fear about this. Even if we are not aware of it, every year the "normal flu" kills thousands of people, both in Europe and elsewhere.
True is that, so far, a growing number of people affected by A-Virus has died, but ALL of them were already seriously debilitated by major deseases, not linked with Swine Flu.

What to say then? well, of course be careful, but just dont shout "AHH! SWINE FLU!" everytime you hear someone sneezing. it wouldnt be that nice.
