Vampires to slaughter British university

Feel like learning about vampires? Not that trashy Americanised Twilight-ish scene, but a proper insight into the myth, the literature and the misterious history surrounding the cult of the vampires.

The University of Hertfordshire is holding a conference titled "Open graves, open minds: Vampires and the undead in modern culture", in which the whole vampire world will be explained and examinated.

The event, to be held on the 16-17 April, will have lectures with topics such as "Appetites of the Undead", "Undead Victorians", "Gendering the Undead" and others.
