Punk is dead

Malcolm McLaren, former manager of Sex Pistols, and regarded as the man who changed first the UK and then the world with "his creation", punk culture, died yesterday in an hospital in Switzerland, aged 64.

He brought about one of the most followed musical and cultural shift of the 20th century. The nickname "mastermind of punk and mayhem" does apply to him a lot, considering that he managed to stir every level of the proper British society - and later did the same with part of the rest of the Western world.

If ever still alive, punk is definetely dead now.
